The search volume is by far not the only deciding factor anymore – depending on the search intent the amount of organic clicks per position can vary greatly. This is why we added the traffic estimation in SISTRIX in 2020 – and now we expanded this function.
Instead of only being able to see the traffic numbers momentarily, it is now possibly to view and analyse the data in a course over time.
For the feature of estimating the organic search traffic we use the public data of a domain known to us as a base to determine the approximate Google traffic per month. Additionally, we estimate how much purchasing this traffic via Google Ads would cost.
Based on the search intent, and with it the SERP layout, the amount of organic clicks per position can very immensely – even if the search volume is stable. With the new chronological table we can recognise changes more easily and analyse their backgrounds more deeply.
The trend is displayed for the chosen country, but there is a summarising option for all countries to be counted via the “All countries” button.
After testing this feature for a while with the SISTRIX Labs, it is now regularly available for everyone. If you put in a domain (or host, directory, URL) in the SISTRIX search bar you can find this function via the “Traffic Estimation” button on the left. Have fun trying it out!
