Alexa is offering developers a possibility to access the Alexa-database named websearch. The applications are run directly on Alexa’s servers and does not need APIs (like which are used at Google and Yahoo). The prices are calculated by the ammount that the service is used. This is an interesting approach and I’m curious what the developers will make of this.
